Visual Kei atau biasa dengan nama manjanya, VK,banyak dikaitkan dengan cara pemakaian yang gothic,punk dan sebagainya.Contoh VK ni macam cara pemakaian the GazettE atau Versailles .
Visual kei ヴィジュアル系 vijuaru kei , literally "visual style" or "visual system" is a movement among Japanese musicians,that is characterized by the use of make-up, elaborate hair styles and flamboyant costumes, often, but not always, coupled with androgynous aesthetics,. Some sources state that visual kei refers to a music genre, or to a sub-genre of Japanese rock, with its own particular sound, related to glam rock, punk rock , and heavy metal ,. However other sources state that visual kei's unique clothing, make-up, fashions, and participation in the related sub-culture , is equally as important as the sound of the music itself in the use of the term.

Oshare Kei ni pulak lebih kurang cam Visual Kei jugak tapi ia pakaian dorang lebih colourful and it looks sweet!
A Japanese music and fashion style, translating to "fashion conscience." The bands of the oshare kei genre, unlike those of visual kei, are bouncy and bright, their songs focusing on happy and positive messages like friends and relationships. Their style is colorful and vibrant, sometimes similar to decora, but usually much more toned down. Other than occasional eyeliner and colored contacts, they rarely wear alot of makeup, also unlike the visual kei genre. Oshare kei started to appear around 2001, and was said to have been started by Ryo of Baroque in their PV "Anakuro Film".Oshare kei Is A Bright And Colorful Type Of Japanese Fashion. It Links Closely To Harajuku Syle. It Has A Mix Of J-rock, Lolita And Visual Style Thrown In To Make It Unique. Oshare Kei Is A Gorgeous Style And Looks Cute.
